Vincent Aderente (1880-1941)
He was born February 20,1880 in Naples, Italy, and came to the United States with his parents at the age of six settling in New York City. He attended the Art Student League studying with Henry Siddons Mowbray. In 1896 he began a professional relationship with Edwin Howland Blashfield, one of America's greatest mural painters, when he assisted him in painting the Waldorf Astoria Ballroom. The working relationship lasted over 30 years with Aderen (showing 500 of 3601 characters). |
