| "A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bert Received a BFA degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has lived in the Atlanta area since 1968 (Studio in Flowery Branch, GA) and is a co-founder of the Dunwoody Fine Arts Association. From her beginnings as a painter of marine subjects, she developed an interest in the styles of the Flemish painters, and has studied with artists in Scottsdale, Taos, and Raleigh.
