| Born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 6, 1917, George Warren Booth grew up in the Midwest to pursue his interest in art, graduating with honors from Ohio University’s School of Painting and Applied Arts in 1942. After graduation he was with the U.S. Signal Corps as a supervisor for animation training films during the war, and later worked as a technical illustrator for Hughes Aircraft in Culver City, California. He continued his studies at the Chouinard School of Art in Los Angeles, the Jo (showing 500 of 2249 characters). |
