John was born and raised in the high desert town of Sparks, Nevada. His young years were spent drawing and learning about art from his schoolteacher Barbara Murdock. Mrs. Murdock instilled within John a desire to create, and make art a lifetime pursuit. It was this inspiration that led him to fulfill his dream.
In 1992 John graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Illustration. After a few years he began to realize success by securing national (showing 500 of 5364 characters). |
