The following is from the Bingham Gallery:
Ken Baxter was born in San Diego in 1944. His father was a traveling government inspector whose travels took the family to Salt Lake City, Utah, where they settled in the 1950s. In the LDS (Mormon) culture, serious training was always made available when young artists showed promise. Ken was no exception. After receiving his BFA from the University of Utah, Baxter taught high school art for several years before becoming a full-time artist. Baxter (showing 500 of 1131 characters). |
