Robert N Blair was a prolific painter of rural life, desert landscapes and World War II scenes. His painting are noted for their range of color, fluidity and movement.
Blair exhibited his watercolor paintings at many museums including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
His honors include two Guggenheim fellowships and nearly 60 one-man shows.
