The following, submitted June 2004, is from Judith Church Tydings, collector of the artist's work from Ijamsville, Maryland. Her source is the obituary of the artist from "The Courier-Gazette", in Rockland, Maine, Oct. 28, 1997, which says that William Bryant died October 21, 1997.
"The obit says he was born in Bradford, Mass., May 30, 1902. He was educated in Haverhill, Mass., at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts school, and at the Art Students League in New York City. His teachers incl (showing 500 of 874 characters). |
