|  Born in Lansing, Michigan, James Casebere studied at Michigan State
University and received a BFA in 1976 from the Minneapolis College of
Art and Design. Among many places, early in his career he worked
in Minneapolis and New York City.
From 1985-88, he was a visiting artist at the California Institute of
Arts, and after that time held residencies in a number of schools
including Cooper Union, Harvard and Yale Universities.
He lives in New York City. |
