Earned a BA at Fort Hays State Univ. in 1961 and, in 1964, a MFA from the Univ. of Arizona, Tucson. From 1967-79, she was Assistant Professor of Painting at Pasadena City College in California, and from 1985-91, Associate Professor of Art at Columbia Univ., New York. Her paintings usually incorporate parallel horizontal lines.
