From Bigfork, Montana, Nancy Cawdrey works in a variety of media---oil, watercolor, pastel, and silk. She studied in France and England before settling in northwest Montana, and her teachers include R.S. Riddick, Linda Tippetts, and Joe Abbrescia.
Nancy Cawdrey has found success painting bold watercolors on silk. Silk painting is an ancient Chinese art to which Cawdrey gives a modern twist with her bold colors and western subjects.
