| Sarah Cole was a 19th-century landscape painter of Catskill, New York. She exhibited at the National Academy in 1848, 1850, and 1852, at the Maryland Historical Society in 1849, and at the American Art-Union in 1848-1852. She was the sister of Thomas Cole, a pioneer of the Hudson River School (b.1801 England, d.1848 Catskill, NY), and Sarah sometimes accompanied him on sketching trips.
