This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following, submitted December 2004, is from the artist.

Anthony Falbo, born May 17, 1953 in Flint Michigan, started expressing himself with art at a very young age. Fascinated with several master painters, such as Rembrandt, Michelangelo, and Picasso, Falbo used them as a guide while working part-time jobs to purchase art supplies. Falbo's parents, Frank and Gacomina Falbo, always encouraged his talent, and allowed him to use the basement in their small 3-bedroom home as a studio. In 1995 he took his family to Florida where he continued portrait painting and started his first series of work called "The Light And Dark ". Having no formal art training, Falbo continues to improve his style.
