Born 1897, died 1987, residence: Salt Lake City, Utah.
He is best known as a sculptor, although he did make accomplished landscape paintings. He began his career as a youngster. At age 14, he studied with sculptor James Earle Fraser who saw that he enrolled in the Art Students League, NYC. Thereafter he studied in the Ecole des Beaux-Arts with Injalbert in Paris, Academy Colarossi, Grand Chaumiere, and the Ecole Modern (showing 500 of 10606 characters). |
