| Henry Faulkner was born in Egypt, Kentucky in 1924. His
flamboyant lifestyle carried him from a traumatic childhood in rural
Kentucky through a bohemian existence in New York, Los Angeles, Key
West and Sicily.
To the public, he was an eccentric rebel, but as his friend Tennessee Williams stated, he was a "brilliant poet and artist".
