John Fekner is a conceptual artist who lives and works in Long Island City, NY. John Fekner began his career in 1973, when Ivan Karp, Director of the O.K. Harris Gallery in New York City, made a studio visit on the Bowery that resulted in Fekner’s first solo exhibition in Soho the following year. Over the past four decades, Fekner's painting, streetwork, sculpture, video and multimedia installations have been seen in museu (showing 500 of 1035 characters). |
