The following, submitted April 2004, is from the artist.
Peter Fiore was born in Teaneck, NJ and studied at both Pratt Institute and the Art Students League. He's been on the faculty at Pratt Institute, Syracuse University and presently teaches at New York's School of Visual Arts. He has received over 75 distinguished awards including a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators where he was president from 1993 to 1995. He is included in "The Illustrator in America, 1860-2000" by Walt (showing 500 of 6883 characters). |
