A Florida based painter, Richard Frank spends a month or so each year painting in Ireland where he focuses on the flora and fauna and also creates work that has symbolic reference to legends.

His work has multiple perspectives give the impression of multi-layered views and form a coherent design.

Richard J. Frank (b. 1947- ) (from Artist's Resume and an exhibition catalog)

Education :
Master of Arts in Museum Studies/Museology from John F. Kennedy University in San Francisco 1981 - 1984; Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from Tyler School of Art of Temple University 1971 - 1973; Bacholor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from University of Florida 1968 - 1970.

Experience :
Curator of Education for Boca Raton Musuem of Art; Adjunct faculty at Palm Beach Community College; Curator of Education at Norton Musuem of Art; Curatorial Assistant to the Director at Oakland Museum of California; Faculty at Evergreen Valley College; Assistant Professor of Art at Augusta State College; Adjunct Faculty at Florida Atlantic Univeristy; Instructor at Tyler School of Art .
