The following is from the artist: GLORIA GRAHAM

1940 Born in Beaumont, Texas.
1962 Undergraduate work at Berkeley, University of California; BFA, Baylor University, Waco, Texas
1963 Graduate work at University of Wisconsin, Madison
1964 Moves to Paris, France to apprentice with sculptor, Jacques Mannessier
1965 Returns to the United States to live in New Mexico; graduate work University of New Mexico
1977 Receives National Endowment for the Arts grant
1987 Receives honorary Asian Cultural Council Grant to Japan
1993 Travels to Nepal where she is influenced by Tibetan life in the Himalayas
1994 Begins to study molecular structures and incorporates them in drawings
1995 Receives grant from Site Santa Fe
1996 Begins drawing molecular patterns on walls
Lives and works in the mountains of New Mexico
