Watercolorist George James is a Professor of Art Emeritus at California State University, Fullerton. His unique technique of painting on synthetic paper allows him to wash out large areas of his artwork and to completely rework a painting. James credits this technique with much of his success at national exhibitions.
James is a member of the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. His awards include the following: AWS Bronze Medal 1998, AWS Gold Medal 1999, AWS Id (showing 500 of 1861 characters). |
