| Jack Johnson grew up in Indiana and attended the school of architecture at University of Michigan. After a stint in the Navy, he settled in Los Angeles and earned a degree from the Art Center School. For 12 years he was an advertising art director and since then he has worked in the film industry as a production illustrator and conceptual artist.
He was a board member of the National Watercolor Society and currently a member of the California Art Club. His painting subjects include Yosemite, southern California and the coast.
