This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Minnesota born to a family of circus performers, Leo Vernon Jensen became a mixed-media sculptor and painter of sports, which he portrays as action-packed. Among his subjects are auto racing, football, scuba diving and horse-riding competition.
His home has been in Ivoryton, Connecticut, where he "lives with a barnful of horses, which he rides, re-living his rodeo days" (84) when he performed as a young man as a rodeo-circuit rider.
