Joseph A. Kennedy, Jr. was born in 1910 in Oakland and was a descendant of a pioneer Oakland family. His father was a prominent attorney and jurist and his family has been active in the Oakland community for 150 years.
He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, and St. Mary's College, where he would later become active with the Alumni group. He also graduated from the California Academy for Advertising Art, and did post-graduate work at the San Francisco School of Fine Arts. < (showing 500 of 1087 characters). |
