| Frequently referenced with only the surname of Bores, Francisco Bores Lopez was a prominent 20th Century Spanish artist. He was born in Madrid and studied at the Cecilia Pia Academy. In 1925, he moved to Paris where he associated with Surrealist painters and was much influenced by that style as well as Cubism through his friend Juan Gris.
The signature style of Francisco Bores Lopez was abstract figurative and landscape. He did paintings and lithographs.
