| Born in Fresno, CA on June 17, 1898. Louise Hannon was educated at Fresno State College. In 1929 she moved to southern California and settled in Laguna Beach with her husband Don W. Leyden. She studied painting locally with Thomas Hunt, William Griffith, and Elanor Colburn. From Laguna she moved nearby to Capistrano Beach where she remained until her demise in San Clemente, CA on April 21, 1978. Her painting subjects included the coast at Laguna and landscapes of the desert and area around (showing 500 of 976 characters). |
