| Artist, designer and educator Elizabeth H. MacDonald holds a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She has worked as an interior decorator, needlework designer and artist, winning many awards along the way.
MacDonald is active in the Philadelphia Sketch Club, where she has been secretary and president. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Academy Fine Arts Fellowship, Mortar Board, International Old Lacers and Liberty Lacers, and Chi Omega. As a member of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., she served as recording secretary and newsletter editor.
