| Sculptor Mike Moran lives in Washington state and teaches sculpture, drawing, and painting at Evergreen State College in Olympia.
A native of Montana he counts the state and its landscape as a major influence in his art. The Italian sculptor, Alberto Giacometti is also an influence as is apparent in his lean, ghoulish figures. Moran works in clay, steel and concrete giving his somewhat archaeological sculptures an earthy look and feel.
