Artist Statement:
The basic idea behind my paintings is to isolate moments of introspection. Using images that are common to our everyday experience may have a profound ability to visually stimulate Psychological, or emotional triggers. The ubiquitous door way, a chair in an empty room, a face reflected in a window amidst a street scene; all create a context that brings one from the universal to the personal.
