Biography from Butler Institute of American Art:

Bill Parker (from the Chase Gallery letter of December 6,1974)

Born Texas 1922

Worked in Paris from 1951 a United States government grant.

First one man show at Kaganovitch Gallery in 1954

Studied with Hans Hofmann in the United States and Fernand Leger in Paris and at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere.

Holdings: Musee d'Art Moderne in Paris; The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam; Moscow Museum; Whitney Museum of American Art; Eisenhower College Collection; University of Maine.
