The following is submitted by Robert B. Hilton, friend and student of the artist. Most of the text came from an autobiographical book published in 1978 and from his obituary.
Lee K. Parkinson, artist, teacher, and lecturer, spent nearly all of his years in the West, receiving his art education in Los Angeles in the 1930's and studying also at the Chicago Institute of Art. After graduation he joined the art and model department at Universal Studios where he was influenced by Millard Sheets (showing 500 of 2933 characters). |
