|  William Dana Parish was born in Rhode Island on May 29, 1862. Parish studied at Académie Julian in Paris. He then established a studio home on Cape Cod where he painted during the 1920s and 1930s. In 1937 he moved to San Diego, California and lived there until his demise on February 15, 1949.
