A still-life painter of everyday objects that speak of a throw-away
society as well as interiors that have a surrealistic quality,
Daniel is a widely exhibited Colorado artist whose style is
realism. Occasionally he will incorporate his own studio or a
landscape scene into still lifes as well as artifacts from travels to
exotic places such as New Guinea.
He credits Dutch painters Jan
Van Eyck and Jean Vermeer as among major influences as well as Baroque
and Renaissance (showing 500 of 1075 characters). |
