Frederick E. Shane was a noted Missouri regionalist artist and member of the faculty of the Department of Art at the University of Missouri-Columbia (ca 1932-1971).  His personal papers are in the archives of the University of Missouri, and these documents relate to such topics as the exhibit and sale of his paintings, his work for the United States Army during World War II, the design and painting of a mural for the Post Office in Eldon, Missouri, information concerning the Department of A (showing 500 of 1537 characters).
