The following information, submitted by Grant Turner, son of the artist, is from the January 2001 obituary of James Thomas Turner.
James Turner was a western-subject sculptor in realist style, who had one-man shows in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Switzerland and the United States. His work was in the collections of the Richard Nixon White House, John Wayne, Coors Brewery and TriState Industrial Bank.
Born
in Denver, Colorado, Turner took the Famous Art Course and studied at the
West (showing 500 of 1757 characters). |
