Josef Svoboda, an illustrator and landscape painter, was Art Director of the Herbert Rogers Company in Dallas,
Texas. He studied painting in Prague with Franisek Bizy and at the Art Institute of Chicago with Ralph Clarkson,
Walter Ufer and Charles Hawthorne. He was a member of the Bohemian Art
Club of Chicago.
He exhibited in Chicago at various Czech artist shows, at the Art Institute in the
1920s and 1930s, and at the Palette and Chisel Club. He exhibited (showing 500 of 2632 characters). |
