| | Born in Belle Plaine, MN on April 20, 1868. Ida was the wife of artist Alexis M. Podchernikoff. Although active in northern California from about 1910, her works are rare. An oil painter, she made faithful copies of religious genre, floral still lifes, and at least two of Grace Hudson's Little Mendocino. Many of her paintings are unsigned and in some she spelled her first name Aida.
