Born in Paris, France on Jan. 20, 1869, the daughter of Charles F. Eaton. Raised in an artistic milieu, Elizabeth was an apt pupil of her father’s.
Formerly of New York, the Eaton family settled in Santa Barbara, CA in 1886. Shortly thereafter, Elizabeth married Wm W. Burton. In 1909 she opened a studio in the Blanchard Bldg in Los Angeles. During 1920 she further studied in Paris. In 1933 she returned to Los Angeles after a two-year tour and exhibitions in Peking, Shan (showing 500 of 976 characters). |
