Franklin Jones of Southbury, Connecticut, and Stockbridge, Massachusetts, was born on May 18, 1921 in Needham, Massachusetts. He became a noted painter of rural New England landscapes and of figural works. His preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolor. He is also a teacher and author and has received the American Watercolor Society's highest award, the Gold Medal of Honor, and membership in the Dolphin Fellowshi (showing 500 of 2953 characters). |
