Born January 29, 1934. He attended the Parsons School of Design from 1951 to 1954; Kunsthandvaerkskolen, Copenhagen, Denmark, 1957 to 1958; Alfred University (B.F.A.; M.F.A.)Myers worked as a Blenko glass designer from 1964 to 1971, when he left to accept the position of Professor of Art at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.
