| Landscape painter. Born in West Bristol, ME on Aug. 2, 1873.
By 1924 Thurston had settled in Los Angeles and was active in the local art scene white studying at the Otis Art Institute. He painted scenes of the coast, High Sierra, and the desert near Palm Springs.
