| Toba Khedoori's art is a mix of drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation. Made with oil paint on 6 x 12 feet sheets of wax-coated paper, often large parts of the wax-coated paper are left blank, to create a sheer and spatial effect. Best known for architectural subjects, Khedoori has recently begun depicting nature, including mountains, rocks, and rain. Both the cityscapes and the natural subjects are painted from drawings of photographs or models rather than rendered from a site that has (showing 500 of 1476 characters). |
