| Born in Camp Verde, Arizona, Ethelbert Brown lived in New York City and West Chester, Pennsylvania. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and exhibited in the Paris Salon in 1899. He also exhibited with the Boston Art Club and the Art Institute of Chicago. |
