| A native of Herkimer, New York, Ruth Wolff was a watercolorist who lived most of her life around Montclair and Verona, New Jersey. She graduated from Rochester Athenaeum of Fine and Applied Art and won recognition for watercolors including New York skyline scenes. She was also a student of Charles Charman and Anna Scott. She served as president of the Verona-West Essex Art Association.
