The following, submitted November 2004, is from Kathleen Grimes Barber.
"I recently purchased three woodblock prints. One was signed "Harold Haven Brown" and the other two were signed "Florence Bradshaw Brown". Harold's print was titled " Old Cape Cod Windmill, Yarmouth, Mass ". Florence's were titled,"Parrot" and "Elephant". Since I purchased them together I wondered what the artists' relationship might be.
I went to Falk's, "Who was Who in American Art" (1985). There I noted one (showing 500 of 1806 characters). |
