| Born in Sherburne, MN on July 21, 1896. Rollins obtained her M.A. degree at the University of Minnesota and then studied at the Corcoran Art Gallery, Minneapolis School of Art, and with Hans Hofmann and Cameron Booth. While teaching art at the University of Minnesota, she often spent summers in California. She died in Hopkins, MN on March 29, 1989.
