Leo Rosco Weeks (1903-1977)
Born in La Cross, Indiana, Leo Rosco Weeks grew up in Lansing, Michigan. His artistic education consisted of two years of study, 1928 thru 1930, at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Employment included illustration work for Popular Mechanics Magazine in Chicago (1942-1962) and in New York City (1962-68 ret.). The artist also held membership in The Old Palette and Chisel Club in Chicago. In 1944 the club gave him its (showing 500 of 943 characters). |
