Andrew was born in Austria in 1897 and died in Sun City, AZ in 1985. His dad, Peter, worked in the coal mines in Krebs, Oklahoma until his death in 1912. Andrew was raised by John Chuno, another miner and his stepfather.
Andrew had an early interest in art and spent much of his time as a youth drawing and working to improve his talent. He entered a contest in McAlester as a youth and caught the attention of a fellow artist who encouraged his gift and taught him mu (showing 500 of 1160 characters). |
