Alexandra Tyng was raised in the Philadelphia area. In 1975 she received a B.A. from Harvard-Radcliffe University, and in 1977 she received an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
She has had five one-person shows of her landscapes and has participated in many group shows. Her work was reviewed in the November 1997 issue of Art News: "Tyng is an accomplished painter, and her views of the Maine landscape. . .are accurate in the rendering of t (showing 500 of 1045 characters). |
