Born in Denver, Colorado, and continuing to live near there, Jane Jones is known for her simple, uncluttered, richly colored floral and fruit still life paintings. They are presented jewel-like against a solid background gradated with light that highlights the intensity and special qualities of her subjects.
Jones has a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Metropolitan State College, (Bachelor’s of Science, 1976) but returned to study art history at Regis University (Masters of Arts, 2005). (showing 500 of 4843 characters). |
