This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Roland Flexner was born in France in 1944 and has lived in New York since 1982. Flexner's detailed ink drawings are created by the artist blowing bubbles of soap and india ink which he then forces to burst on small pieces of paper. The results are highly detailed pictures that resemble geological strata or distant planets.
