The following information was submitted by the artist: Growing up in Chippewa Falls, artist John McFaul had frequent access to the beauty of both the Wisconsin and the Canadian north woods. From these sources, he drew inspiration that has ignited into a lifelong passion for the natural world. Research trips have since taken John throughout the continental U.S., Alaska, and East Africa.
